Vietnam Bike Tour Travel Report Part 2 – Bikepacking from Saigon Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang

Bike trip through Vietnam Travelogue: In December 2018, I ride first from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) through the south of Vietnam and then later along the border with Laos through the mountains to the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi!

Of course I’ll film the bike tour for you – it will be “Bikepacking Vietnam” part 1 to 5!

Bikepacking Vietnam – Bike Travel Reports: The bike tour starts in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and I cycle through South Vietnam in this video. One of the highlights is the mountain town of Da Lat.

The traffic is murderous on many of the roads but I am also rewarded with impressive descents through the rainforest! A spectacle of nature that I have never seen before.

After a week I reach the coastal town of Nha Trang. In the third part of the Vietnam travel documentary, we continue by train to the former imperial city of Hue.

Bikepacking Vietnam Part 3 – By night train to the former imperial city of Hue

In December 2018, I’ll be driving across Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh City (the former Saigon). My destination is the capital Hanoi. In the process, I’ll create a bike travel doc for you.

Review: I already drove through the south of Vietnam and arrived in the coastal city of Nha Trang. I only stay there for one day, because I am drawn further to central Vietnam: I want to experience the fascination of the former imperial city of Hue!

So the Asia bike trip continues to Hue: I take the night train from Nha Trang directly to Hue. The city is located right in the middle of Vietnam and is famous for the Hue Citadel. The citadel is a Unesco World Heritage Site and very worth seeing! A highlight on my bicycle tour through Vietnam.

Vietnam Bike Tour Travel Report Part 4 – Lost Place Vietnam

Abandoned Water Park – Ho Thuy Tien Lake Abandoned Water Park in Hue

In December 2018, I will be cycling from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) to Hanoi. A bike tour once through Vietnam! In the process, I’ll create a bike travel doc for you.

Bike tour through Vietnam: Welcome to the abandoned water park near Hue! A real LOST PLACE in Vietnam. You will find the abandoned water park about 10km away from Hue and it is easily accessible by motorbike or bicycle.

You’re a true Urbex so Urban Exploration fan? Then the Ho Thuy Tien Water Park is the place for you! The water park was built a few years ago. The construction cost was more than UDS 3 million.

Apparently an outright misplanning, because the water park was very quickly closed again.

Since then, the water park has lain fallow and nature is currently reclaiming it.

The highlight of the park is clearly the giant dragon in the middle. There are also aquariums, slides, buildings and much more to discover!

As a Vietnam travel tip, I can definitely recommend the park to you!

If you are in Vietnam and in Hue then just search for “Ho Thuy Tien Lake Abandoned Water Park” on Google Maps.
